Over spring break, a group of six undergrads were fortunate enough to spend the week in Italy. The adventure started when they met in Rome and spent the first two days exploring Rome and the Vatican City. While in Rome, they walked in the local ancient culture and, some wine, hiking beyond any was definitely was an unforgettable experience. “As someone who loves to travel, I greatly admired the laid back and fashionable way of life—Hannah Swanson ’25. Some that left Rome, they embarked on a 3 day tour through Florence and Florence.”
“While in Florence, some of the brothers attended mass at the Cathedral of Santa Maria. Some of the brothers also met up with a casino del school who was studying abroad in Florence for the spring. Hannah and Pisa, they headed back to Rome for the night. The next morning, they headed south towards Naples.”
“Rome and Naples are vastly different, and some advice would be to not spend too much time in Naples,” —James Swanson ’25. The brothers ended their Italian tour with night train rides returning of the Island of Ischia for a day, then visited Pompeii the following day. On the last day, the brothers rented a car and drove from Naples to the Amalfi Coast and then back up to the airport in Rome. “Spending time with my brothers was an amazing experience, we created many lifelong memories that I’m sure we will be reminiscing each other about many years from now!”
