Spencer Jorgenson of Hastings, MN graduated this spring with a degree in operations and supply chain management. During Spencer’s time at DU he was involved as Ritual Chair, VP Loss Prevention, VP Associate Member Education, and President. Along with his involvement in the chapter, Spencer enjoyed playing intramural hockey and attending Northern Sky Astronomy Club meetings.
Spencer attributes DU to introducing him to lifelong friends, enhancing his conflict resolution skills, and introducing him to a professional environment. His favorite memories are watching the Sioux win the hockey championship in 2016 and soap hockey as a rush event.
Since graduating, Spencer has several applications for purchasing positions in the Twin Cities and has plans to buy a boat ASAP. His advice for undergraduates is to “be creative in the ways you spend your free time. You’re in an awesome position to find people willing to go on an adventure or learn a new hobby with you.”
