Twenty-five years ago the greater Grand Forks community suffered a historically devastating flood. The Red River crested at 54 feet and spread 3 miles inland. The city evacuated 50,000 people and the property damage in the Red River region totaled $3.5 billion. Here is an article from MPR to read more about the flood.
Like the rest of Grand Forks, our current chapter house was affected by this flood. We are looking for those Brothers who lived at the chapter house and in Grand Forks at the time to share their experiences. What was it like? How did the chapter house handle it? Do you have any pictures?
