Delta Upsilon Fraternity

University of North Dakota Chapter

We are the only non-secret, non-hazing fraternity at the University of North Dakota where we have been building better men for over 60 years. The experience that our members have at UND are not that of the typical college student and we proudly share that with others. No secrets required.

Our Mission is Building Better Men

Our chapter was installed in January 1962 on our four founding principles of The Promotion of Friendship, The Development of Character, The Diffusion of Liberal Culture and The Advancement of Justice. Since our foundation over 60 years ago, hundreds of men have entered our proud brotherhood and upon graduation our members leave the University of North Dakota as a well rounded and well prepared leader.

Being a member of a fraternity is more than just four years of fun, it is an opportunity for you to join a brotherhood that promotes a modern college experience that prepares you for the workplace. Delta Upsilon is a lifelong experience and as an alumni of our prestigious organization, you will join over 85,000 brothers spanning across world in thousands of career fields.

If you believe you are ready to be part of our brotherhood, we invite you to visit us today.

Dedication Celebration

We are less than a month away from dedicating our new 100-year house, and we’re thrilled to invite everyone who wishes to join.

If you plan on joining us for the dedication, or are an alumni who has registered for the events of the weekend, details on schedule, hotel, parking, and more can be found here.

NEW HOUSE CONSTRUCTION

The new chapter house will be a 16,000 square foot two story structure with a lower level. The structure will be a combination of interior wood, and steel frame construction with brick on the exterior.

In addition, the chapter house will be fully sprinklered with a modern kitchen, laundry, and elevator to allow for full accessibility for wheelchair users. The sleeping rooms will consist of a combination of single and double rooms.

Educational spaces include multiple study rooms, a library and a media production room. The lower level will have in-floor heating which will be perfect for the North Dakota winters! Furthermore, the wheelchair ramp leading to the entrance on the north side of the house will be heated during the winter to melt snow and ice.

The Men of Delta Upsilon, North Dakota Chapter, welcome all alumni and guests to visit and tour the grounds whenever you are in Grand Forks.
